First look at Mohawk Harbor apartments in Schenectady

More than 64 leases have been signed at The Riverhouse, a six-story apartment building at the new $150 million Mohawk Harbor mixed-use development along the Mohawk River in Schenectady, New York. "We're way ahead of schedule," said David Buicko, CEO of The Galesi Group in Rotterdam, the developer. Tenants started moving in August 1. The Riverhouse has 206 apartments and 40,000-square-feet of retail space. Rivers Casino plans fireworks for Labor Day

SCHENECTADY — Labor Day, a holiday typically commemorated with a day off work for many and a little else, will be marked by fireworks at Rivers Casino & Resort this year. The casino announced on social media Wednesday its plans to launch fireworks over the Mohawk River on Sept. 3, as an end-of-summer celebration. The casino put on similar shows July 3 and 4.
